Individual Therapy for Adolescents and Adults
Relationship adjustment, school or work problems, grief, depression, anxiety, abuse, post-traumatic stress, bi-polar disorders, personality disorders.
Impulse control, bedwetting, ADHD, adjustment to changing families, school performance, authority conflicts, physical and sexual abuse.
Adjustment to change within families, gay & lesbian families, adoption, making divorce manageable for parents and children, grief and loss, reconnecting dads to kids, abuse, helping families learn relationship skills to increase family competence.
Separation and divorce, co-parenting, pre-marital counseling, adjusting to stressors such as finances, illness, infidelity, sexual dissatisfaction, and major life transitions.
Free Counseling for Veterans and their Family
Thanks to a grant from the Texas Veterans Commission, Veterans and/or their family members can receive counseling services at NO COST. Therapy can address any issue and is not restricted to combat/service related trauma.
Anger management for adults. Group therapy has the added benefit of helping clients learn from peers experiencing similar struggles as themselves in a controlled therapeutic setting. If there is enough interest in a specific area of need, a group may be formed, i.e. sexual abuse survivors, parenting, adolescent anger management.
Psychological Testing & Evaluation
Low cost administration, interpretation, and reporting of individual psychological and psycho-educational tests as well as complete test batteries. This includes testing for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
Depression Screening for Teens
If your teenager has some of the following behaviors, it may be an indication of depression.
- A sudden drop in grades
- An increase in irritable or angry moods… moodiness
- Easily agitated and short fuse
- You often feel angry, restless and have a short fuse
- Withdrawing from some, but not all, people
- A lot of restless behavior
- Often appears sad, or cries easily
- Self-destructive behaviors
- Extreme sensitivity to criticism
- Staying awake at night and sleeping during the day
- Talking about death or suicide. We can provide you with a brief, low-cost depression screening for your teenager. If significant depression is identified, we will make suggestions to help reduce the depression.
Depression Screening for Adults
If you can’t shake the feelings of intense sadness or unhappiness, frequently want to get away from everyone, and thoughts of despair, hopelessness, and even suicide run through your mind, you may be experiencing depression. We can provide you with brief low cost depression screening. When significant depression is detected, we will make suggestions to help reduce your depression.

Print the document, and complete all information by hand or with a typewriter. Please bring all intake paperwork with you to the intake session.
